Los Angeles tattoo artist Matt Vazquez posted that Bridgers recently added the word “Bobby” in script beneath her collarbone, a permanent nod to her partner, comedian‑musician Bo Burnham.
The tattoo aligns with the singer’s August 14 release of Lost Weekend, which includes a track titled “Bobby” that details the couple’s romance with lines such as “Now I sleep in your shirts and you live in my house.” Burnham, 36, co‑wrote seven of the album’s 16 songs and provides guest vocals on the eponymous track.
Bridgers and Burnham were first linked in late 2022, and their relationship entered the public eye in May 2023 when Keith Urban inadvertently highlighted them in an Eras Tour video.
In addition to the new lettering, Vazquez gave Bridgers a spider‑web design on her left elbow, tucked beneath a heart bearing the name “Max” in memory of her late dog. The fresh ink joins an arm already covered with barbed‑wire around her bicep, a lit match on her forearm, the phrase “drink water” on her left wrist, and a tooth tattoo that matches those of her Boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker.
Bridgers is set to kick off The Lost Tour this Thursday at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, and the following day her first feature film, A24’s Primetime starring Robert Pattinson, opens in theaters.
