According to a police statement, the auction will be held at the Armed Reserve Ground, with the vehicles available for inspection by prospective bidders from 9 a.m. on the day of the sale.
Registration for interested participants opens on September 24 and requires the submission of a copy of the applicant’s Aadhaar card along with a ₹2,000 registration fee.
Only individuals or entities that possess a GST registration number are eligible to place bids, and successful bidders must settle the winning amount together with applicable GST before taking immediate possession of the vehicles.
The auction will continue until all 35 condemned vehicles are sold, as stipulated by the police statement.
