Haaland reaches 60 Champions League goals faster than anyone

Erling Haaland became the fastest and youngest player to reach sixty Champions League goals. The Manchester City striker surpassed two Lionel Messi milestones against Paris Saint-Germain on October 14.

Haaland scored twice in the away match on the second league-phase matchday. Manchester City lost 4-2 to the Paris side. His first goal in the game was his sixtieth in the competition.

Messi had previously reached sixty goals fastest, taking eighty matches. Haaland reached the milestone aged twenty-six years and eighty-five days, one day younger than Messi had been.
