Mbappé becomes youngest player to reach 100 Champions League games

Kylian Mbappé made his 100th Champions League appearance on October 14, becoming the youngest player to reach the milestone. The Real Madrid forward was 27 years and 298 days old when he faced Roma.
Mbappé started for Madrid at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico. The previous record belonged to Messi, who made his 100th Champions League appearance at 28 years and 84 days old.
Messi reached the milestone in September 2015, also against Roma. Before the match, UEFA noted that an appearance by Mbappé would establish a new age record.
Mbappé equalised in the 25th minute to make the score 1–1, scoring his 72nd Champions League goal. Madrid went on to win the match 4–3.
