Kaprizov ranks tenth in NHL history for goals per game

Kirill Kaprizov ranks tenth in NHL regular-season history for goals per game among players with at least 100 appearances.

The 29-year-old Minnesota forward has scored 240 goals in 406 games, an average of 0.59 per game.

Toronto's Auston Matthews is the only active player ahead of Kaprizov on that measure. He has 434 goals in 698 games, averaging 0.62.

Alex Ovechkin is eleventh overall with 930 goals in 1581 games. His average also rounds to 0.59, but the unrounded figure is lower than Kaprizov's.
