The Karnataka Media Academy has invited journalism graduates and postgraduates to apply for a two-month internship at media organisations. The programme, run under the women’s budget initiative, will select 20 candidates.
Academy chairperson Ayesha Khanum said applicants must have graduated in journalism from a recognised university during the 2022–23, 2023–24, 2024–25 or 2025–26 academic years. They must also have an interest in journalism and writing skills.
Selected candidates will spend two months at media organisations. The Academy will provide a stipend, though the amount was not specified.
Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae, the prescribed application form and supporting documents through the Google Form provided by the Academy. The deadline is October 23. Late applications will not be considered.
A committee constituted by the Academy will make the final selection, Khanum said in a press release.
