Kislyak says he is happy at CSKA and is in no rush to move to Europe

Russia and CSKA Moscow midfielder Matvey Kislyak says he is focused on his current club and is not pushing for a move to Europe. He has not ruled out trying a top foreign league in the future.

In an interview with Izvestia and Sport-Express, Kislyak said he had asked Alexey Batrakov how he was settling in at Galatasaray. Kislyak said the conversation reflected his curiosity about a new football environment, not plans to move to Turkey himself.

He said he is happy at CSKA and wants to help the team perform well in the Russian Premier League and the national cup. Kislyak is not making plans in advance: he would welcome a chance to play for a top European club, but would also be content to continue his career in Russia.

A product of CSKA’s academy, Kislyak has made 11 appearances in all competitions in the 2026-27 season and recorded three assists. Transfermarkt values the 21-year-old at €25 million.
