Korolyov orders faster heating rollout in Tver and Nelidovo district

Tver Region Governor Vitaly Korolyov ordered work to be accelerated in Tver and Nelidovo district, where heating rollout was 97% and 99% complete respectively. He issued the instruction at a meeting on winter preparations.

The regional government said municipalities had repaired more than two thousand pieces of boiler equipment and replaced 56 kilometres of heating networks. Hydraulic tests had been carried out and emergency teams placed on heightened readiness.

Key utility providers have 267 teams, 600 vehicles and pieces of equipment, and 177 backup electricity sources. An additional combined response group includes 450 specialists and more than 170 vehicles and pieces of equipment for emergency deployments.

Korolyov instructed the housing inspectorate to monitor service quality throughout the heating season and called for prompt repairs after accidents. Four more mobile modular boiler units are expected to arrive. Completing the certification of energy organisations’ winter readiness remains a separate task.
