Erdogan discusses attacks on Saudi Arabia with crown prince

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on October 13. Turkish officials said he condemned Houthi attacks and expressed support for the kingdom.
Turkey's presidential Directorate of Communications said the leaders discussed recent regional developments and attacks on Saudi territory. Erdogan conveyed condolences for those killed and said Turkey would continue to stand by Saudi Arabia.
The official account does not announce a military agreement or deployment of Turkish forces. It also gives no death toll. The statement sets out Ankara's position on the attacks.
Separately that day, the Saudi-led coalition reported intercepting three drones north of Riyadh. That military report did not establish where the aircraft were launched or who operated them. It cannot automatically be treated as describing the attacks discussed by the leaders.
