Four sentenced to six to nine years over Moscow post office robbery

A court sentenced four participants in the robbery of a Moscow post office on Medikov Street to between six and nine years in prison. The city's prosecutor's office reported the verdict on October 13.
Viktor Fedkin and Sergei Moskvitin each received nine years in a strict-regime penal colony. Lyudmila was sentenced to eight years and six months, and Regina Shikhova to six years. Moscow 24, citing prosecutors, said the women will serve their sentences in a general-regime colony. The verdict has not yet taken legal effect.
The attack took place on the morning of August 8, 2025. Fedkin and Shikhova entered through a service entrance wearing masks and stole more than 4.8 million rubles. Prosecutors said they initially escaped with an accomplice in one vehicle before transferring to another driven by Moskvitin.
The stolen money was divided among the participants. The four defendants were convicted of robbery committed by an organised group on an especially large scale. The case against the driver of the first getaway car is being handled separately.
