Lexa’s mother objects after being called “Dream” on A Fazenda 18

Darlin Ferrattry responded to actress Maíra Charken during the “Aponta Peão” game on the Brazilian reality show. Her nickname dates back to a time singer Ivete Sangalo mixed up her name.

Darlin Ferrattry, a contestant on the Brazilian reality show A Fazenda 18, objected after actress Maíra Charken called her “Dream” during the Aponta Peão game on Monday, October 5. Charken played on the English words dream and nightmare while addressing her fellow contestant.

Ferrattry replied that Ivete Sangalo had given her the nickname and demanded respectful treatment. The story began in 2021 on the Multishow program Música Boa Ao Vivo, when Sangalo forgot Darlin’s name and called her Dream. Darlin’s daughter, singer Lexa, corrected her.

In 2024, Sangalo recalled the incident on the TV show Que História é Essa, Porchat? and said she spent about a month apologizing to Lexa and her mother. The old slip has now become a talking point again on the reality show.
