Likhachev says diesel delivery to Zaporizhzhia plant remains unresolved

Delivery of diesel fuel to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant remains unresolved, Rosatom Director General Alexei Likhachev told reporters.

The fuel powers backup diesel generators, which supply the plant with electricity if it loses its external power connection.

Likhachev also said Rosatom was preparing another fuel convoy and needed to increase stocks before the autumn and winter season, NEWS.ru reported.
