MBA–Enisey game postponed after visiting team’s delayed arrival

The VTB United League postponed the MBA–Enisey game scheduled for October 10 in Moscow because the Krasnoyarsk team could not arrive on time, the league’s press service said.

The regular-season fixture was due to start at 13:00 Moscow time. The official announcement cited force majeure and said a new date and time would be announced separately.

Enisey was ninth in the standings and MBA tenth when the game was postponed. The meeting between neighbouring teams in the table therefore did not take place at its originally scheduled time.

RBC provided context about restrictions at Moscow airports during the preceding two days amid drone attacks. Restrictions affected Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky. The league itself did not specify the circumstances preventing the visitors from reaching Moscow.
