Moscow forecast to see showers and temperatures of up to 15C this weekend

A cold front will cross the region overnight into Saturday, bringing cooler weather during the day. Temperatures could reach 15C on Sunday, forecaster Evgeny Tishkovets said.

A brief, local shower is expected in the Moscow region overnight into October 10. Temperatures will range from 7C to 10C, said Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather centre.

Atmospheric pressure is expected to rise during the day and the weather to clear, though temperatures will not exceed 10C to 13C. On Sunday, October 11, the capital region will remain on the edge of an anticyclone for most of the day, according to the forecaster. Cloudy periods will alternate with clearer spells.

A light shower is possible in some areas in the evening. If skies clear, temperatures will fall to 5C to 8C by dusk, while the afternoon high on Sunday is forecast at 12C to 15C.
