MSU law faculty restricts in-person attendance after measles case
In-person attendance at Moscow State University’s law faculty has been restricted for unvaccinated students and staff, those with only a single dose and those without vaccination records, Moscow’s Rospotrebnadzor office said after a student was diagnosed with measles.
An epidemiological investigation began on October 19, when the case was registered. The university administration was instructed to carry out anti-epidemic measures in the teaching building.
The order requires attendance restrictions for people unable to confirm measles vaccination or a past infection. The watchdog said contacts had been identified and students and staff were receiving preventive information.
Emergency vaccination is being carried out jointly by City Outpatient Clinic No. 209 and the university’s clinic.
