Novak expects Power of Siberia deliveries to China to reach 39 billion cubic metres

Russia expects to deliver 39 billion cubic metres of gas to China through the Power of Siberia pipeline in 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.
In an interview with Marina Kim for Solovyov Live during Russian Energy Week, Novak compared the forecast with the main contract's annual volume of 38 billion cubic metres. He said the countries had also agreed to expand deliveries to 44 billion.
Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corporation are still negotiating a second project with annual capacity of 50 billion cubic metres. The companies are discussing the contract's commercial terms, Novak said.
