Petrosian says she has health issues but plans to continue competing

The figure skater did not specify the nature of her health problems. After competing in Batumi, she said there was a lot to address but that she could move forward.

Three-time Russian champion Adeliia Petrosian told Match TV that she has health issues. “There’s a lot that needs to be fixed with my health. But overall, I can keep moving forward,” she said. She did not specify the nature of the problems.

Petrosian said she intends to continue working despite the difficulties. Last week, she placed second at the Challenger Series Trialeti Trophy in Batumi with a score of 204.16 points. It was her first international event since the Olympic Games in Italy.

In the summer of 2026, Petrosian left Eteri Tutberidze’s training group, where she had trained since 2019, and moved to Inna Goncharenko’s group. Petrosian has not given further details about her health.
