Former Sejm speaker and Poland 2050 lawmaker Szymon Hołownia asked lawmakers to honor the woman after his speech. He sought the presiding speaker’s permission and urged the chamber to remember her and support her loved ones.
Polish media reported that the worker was killed in an attack by a former student at a school in the Mazovian region. The Associated Press reported that a 15-year-old former student attacked the school principal, a custodian and a teacher. One person was killed and two were injured. Police arrested the teenager, the agency reported. Hołownia did not provide further details of the incident in his remarks.
