In an interview with gastroenterologist Sergey Vyalov’s channel, Vyacheslav Bulaev suggested a link between muscle response and sexual practices.
Proctologist Vyacheslav Bulaev said he pays attention to the perianal reflex during examinations and believes a patient’s muscle response may lead him to infer aspects of their sexual practice. He made the comments in an interview with gastroenterologist Sergey Vyalov’s YouTube channel, Lenta.ru reported.
Bulaev described the response to touch around the anus and associated relaxation with repeated stretching. He also stressed that this response alone does not mean the sphincter is malfunctioning or that a person needs to wear diapers.
The remarks are a doctor’s comments in an interview, not a diagnosis of any individual patient. Lenta.ru also referred to earlier advice by another doctor, Vladimir Tolstykh, on preparing for a proctology appointment.
