Biopharmaceutical company Promomed was among the recipients of the “Big Discovery” special award at the Know Our People contest.
The Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Roscongress Foundation announced the fourth-season results on October 7. Moscow-based Motorica and SHIKstudio received awards alongside Promomed in the “Big Discovery” category, established by the Roscongress Foundation.
Promomed is a biopharmaceutical company based in the Republic of Mordovia. The Agency for Strategic Initiatives says it develops medicines through the full cycle, from research to mass production. Motorica makes prostheses, wheelchairs and other rehabilitation devices, while SHIKstudio produces color cosmetics and skin-care products.
The organizers named 15 winners in the main contest and three recipients of the special award this season. More than 21,000 entries came from all 89 Russian regions. Contestants competed in 33 categories across five areas.
The contest for growing Russian brands has been held since 2023. It is organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Roscongress Foundation with support from VEB.RF. RIA Novosti reported Promomed’s award, citing the company’s press service.
