Rafael Camara to replace Esteban Ocon at Haas for 2027

Brazilian driver Rafael Camara will join Haas in Formula One from 2027, replacing Esteban Ocon alongside Oliver Bearman.
Haas confirmed Camara on a multi-year deal. Team principal Ayao Komatsu attributed the decision to his speed and ability to extract the most from the car.
Camara won the FRECA European regional championship in 2024 and the Formula Three title in 2025. He leads the Formula Two standings this season.
He will take the seat held by Ocon, winner of the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix. His future team-mate Bearman will continue with Haas.
Camara will become the second Brazilian on the grid alongside Audi driver Gabriel Bortoleto. His move into Haas's race lineup is scheduled for the 2027 season.
