Real Madrid asks Mbappé to be more careful in public

Real Madrid coach José Mourinho has advised Kylian Mbappé to be more restrained in public, saying the striker draws close media attention, L’Équipe reported.

The club is concerned about how the player’s comments about the team may be perceived, according to the report. Posts showing Mbappé at a Paris nightclub and riding a bicycle in Switzerland while recovering from an injury were among the incidents that prompted criticism. The club is wary that his public remarks could be read as reflecting the team’s position.

The 27-year-old France forward is under contract with Real Madrid through 2029. He has scored eight goals and provided two assists in eight appearances this season.
