Revolut morning outage disrupts app access, card payments and transfers
A Revolut outage on the morning of October 20 disrupted app access, transfers and card payments. The company confirmed problems affecting several services and said customers’ money and data were safe.
The Telegraph, citing Downdetector, reported complaints from users in different countries. Some could not sign into the app, while others were unable to transfer money or pay by card.
In its morning statement, Revolut said it had been working to fix the problem since discovering it and apologised to customers. Its service-status page also recorded problems affecting sign-in, card payments and transfers.
Revolut serves more than 80 million customers worldwide, according to its website.
