Roma hold Como to goalless draw after Malen dismissal

Roma drew 0-0 away to Como in Serie A's sixth round after playing most of the second half with ten men.

Donyell Malen received a straight red card in the 53rd minute of the October 11 match. Roma kept a clean sheet after losing the forward, while the hosts were unable to capitalise on their numerical advantage.

Serie A's official website described it as the season's first goalless draw. The game was played at Como's Giuseppe Sinigaglia stadium.

Roma moved to 14 points and Como to 11. RIA Novosti's post-match report placed the teams second and sixth respectively.

Roma are scheduled to host Genoa in their next league game on October 17. Como will visit Fiorentina on October 18.
