RPL resumes after break with Krasnodar hosting Zenit

Russia’s Premier League resumes with round ten fixtures on October 10–11. Leaders Krasnodar host Zenit on Saturday, while Spartak visit Krylya Sovetov.
Saturday’s featured schedule begins with Fakel against Lokomotiv at 15:15 Moscow time. Krylya Sovetov host Spartak at Solidarnost Samara Arena at 17:30, followed by Krasnodar against Zenit at Ozon Arena at 19:30.
RBC’s preview puts Krasnodar on 21 points and Zenit on 18 ahead of the round. Murad Musaev’s team drew their three previous league matches. Spartak have 19 points, compared with Krylya Sovetov’s 11.
On Sunday, CSKA host Rodina at VEB Arena at 16:30, a time confirmed by the club’s official ticket listing. Rubin face Dynamo Moscow at Ak Bars Arena at 19:30.
RBC highlights selection questions for several teams. Zenit’s lineup depends on the readiness of players returning from international duty. Krasnodar striker Dmitry Vorobyov remains a doubt, although his coach said he was training with the main group.
Rodina’s game against CSKA will be the teams’ first RPL meeting and a test following Jonathan Alba’s appointment as head coach. Results could alter the narrow gaps between the leader and the chasing teams.
