Russia's Education Ministry aims to finish preschool standard update in 2027
Russia's Education Ministry plans to complete an update of the federal preschool education standard in 2027, department director Alexander Reut said on October 19.
Speaking at a panel discussion on the educational potential of toys and preschool teaching practice, Reut said work on the standard was already under way. He identified next year as the expected completion date.
Deputy Education Minister Olga Koludarova previously noted that the current preschool standard had been in use for 13 years. In her assessment, the new generation's perception had changed substantially during that period.
