Russia to face Uzbekistan in Tashkent football friendly

Russia will play Uzbekistan in a football friendly in Tashkent on November 12, the Russian Football Union announced.

Head coach Valery Karpin previously said Russia planned two matches in November, with an away fixture and a home game. The union will announce the kick-off time for the Tashkent match later.

During the previous international window, Russia played three friendlies. The team beat Iran 2-0 on September 29 and Namibia 6-0 on October 3, then drew 3-3 with Nigeria on October 6.
