Prices for medicines on Russia’s list of vital and essential drugs are rising no faster than inflation, Deputy Health Minister Sergey Glagolev said. He said their prices were below the inflation rate in comments to RIA Novosti at the Bioprom forum in Gelendzhik.
A draft government order seen earlier by RIA Novosti proposed adding 13 medicines to the list. Inclusion means the government sets maximum manufacturer selling prices for those drugs and oversees trade markups.
