Ryazan governor reports overnight fire in Kasimov district

A non-residential building caught fire overnight in the Kasimov district of Russia's Ryazan region, with no injuries reported, Governor Pavel Malkov said.

The building is in a residential neighbourhood of private homes. In the same statement, Malkov said a drone had been shot down over the Ryazan region overnight.

Russia's Defence Ministry earlier said it had intercepted and destroyed 373 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian regions and the Black Sea during the night. The Ryazan region was among the areas listed in the ministry's report.
