Rybar team arrives in Serbia after leaving Montenegro

The authors of the Rybar project arrived in Serbia from Montenegro overnight on October 10, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported. Their arrival follows the group’s detention and subsequent release in Montenegro.
The arrivals included Telegram project leader Mikhail Zvinchuk and his colleagues. Vedomosti also reported their arrival, citing RIA Novosti. The group had previously been held in Montenegro before being released.
The confirmed arrival establishes that the team has left Montenegro and is now in Serbia. It does not itself settle questions about the circumstances of the detention or establish the authors’ longer-term plans. The new development concerns their location after release. RIA’s report attributes the arrival to its own correspondent, rather than presenting Serbia as a prospective destination.
