Sean Combs moved from Fort Dix to Pennsylvania prison

Sean Combs, the rapper known as Diddy, has been moved from the federal prison at Fort Dix, New Jersey, to Allenwood in Pennsylvania. The US Bureau of Prisons confirmed the transfer to The Associated Press on October 16.

A person familiar with the matter told the agency that Combs was transferred to the low-security Allenwood Low facility. TMZ and RIA Novosti also reported the move.

The Bureau of Prisons declined to disclose the reason, citing privacy and security requirements. Combs' spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, said inmate placement decisions were made by the bureau.

In 2025, Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison on two counts of transporting people for prostitution. Jurors acquitted him of racketeering and sex trafficking charges. He has been in custody since September 2024.
