The Singapore Grand Prix is the 17th round of the 2026 season. Formula One’s schedule lists first practice for Friday at 5:30 a.m. Brasília time and sprint qualifying at 9:30 a.m. Saturday’s sprint is set for 6 a.m., followed by qualifying for Sunday’s race at 10 a.m.
An FIA representative told CNN Brasil that haze and reduced air quality were not expected to threaten track sessions or the night race. The smoke was linked to wildfires in Indonesia, described by the source as the most intense in more than a decade.
Championship leader Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes arrives with an 84-point advantage over teammate George Russell. Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton is third, 106 points behind Antonelli. Seven race weekends remain after Singapore, including this sprint event.
In Brazil, the event will be shown on TV Globo, cable channel SporTV 3, streaming service Globoplay and F1TV. The official calendar confirms the Oct. 9–11 dates and the Marina Bay street circuit.
