Sky reports Leipzig may consider an early exit for Demichelis

Sky Sport says RB Leipzig could part ways with Martin Demichelis and has discussed bringing back Julian Nagelsmann.

Sport-Express, citing Sky Sport, reported that the club has given the 45-year-old Argentine coach until October 31 to prove himself. Leipzig have seven competitive fixtures across three tournaments during that period, including games against Eintracht Frankfurt, PSV, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Elversberg, Essen and Schalke.

The reports say some officials consider Demichelis’ playing style and route to success insufficiently attractive. They also cite disagreements within the squad. Leipzig have not announced a dismissal, and the board is still backing the coach for now.

Club officials are considering a return for Julian Nagelsmann. Under him, Leipzig reached the Champions League semi-finals and finished second in the Bundesliga. Sky Sport has also reported that Nagelsmann is available, but the club has not made a decision to change coaches.
