Taaleem’s annual profit falls to AED 127.2 million

Taaleem Holdings reported net profit of AED 127.2 million for the year ended August 31, 2026, down from AED 163.03 million a year earlier. Its fourth-quarter loss widened to AED 156.01 million.
The company attributed part of the annual decline to a one-off comparison: results for fiscal 2024/25 included AED 10.3 million in proceeds from an acquisition transaction, while the current year had no such proceeds. Earnings per share for the period were AED 0.13.
Operating costs rose 17% to AED 799.1 million from AED 684.4 million a year earlier. Finance costs increased 78%, while general and administrative expenses were up 13%. At the same time, finance income fell 51% and other income declined 74%.
The net loss in the fourth quarter reached AED 156.01 million, compared with AED 96.8 million in the same period a year earlier. The company also swung to a loss from net earnings of AED 105.6 million in the third quarter.
The figures cover the fiscal year ended August 31, 2026. The year-on-year comparison reflects both the absence of proceeds from the previous year’s acquisition transaction and higher costs alongside lower income in several categories.
