Wendel and Diveyev to miss Zenit's Akhmat match

Wendel and Igor Diveyev will miss Zenit's match against Akhmat on October 18, St Petersburg coach Sergei Semak said.

Semak said Wendel felt well and was following his training programme. The midfielder's return timetable should become clearer after an examination in the coming days. The coach hopes he can be ready for one of the following two games.

Diveyev is working individually. Semak said he hoped the defender could prepare for the next fixture.

The Russian Premier League's round-eleven match will take place at Gazprom Arena in St Petersburg at 14:00 Moscow time. After ten rounds, Zenit has 21 points and is third, while Akhmat has 11 points and is eleventh.
