Woman treated after fainting in Bali petrol queue

A woman fainted on the morning of October 13 while queuing for petrol at the Latu filling station in Bali’s Badung district. Police and station staff helped her and called an ambulance, Detik reported, citing local police.
The incident occurred at around 09:00 local time in Abiansemal. The woman had waited for several hours before collapsing near a fuel dispenser.
She was taken to a medical centre. Acting Abiansemal police chief I Komang Juniawan said her condition had already improved when she was being transported.
Detik described exhaustion as the suspected cause of the collapse. That is a preliminary explanation, rather than an established medical diagnosis.
The incident comes amid fuel-supply disruptions and long queues in Bali. Governor Wayan Koster previously expected supplies to normalise within one or two days. That timetable remains a forecast.
