Admiral beats Lada in overtime as visitors’ losing streak reaches nine

Admiral defeated Lada 4-3 in overtime in Vladivostok on October 10. Dmitry Zavgorodniy scored the winner, extending the Togliatti club’s losing streak to nine games in the KHL regular season.
Danila Moiseyev, Ivan Muranov and Kyle Olson scored Admiral’s regulation goals. With the teams level after three periods, Zavgorodniy’s goal in the extra session settled the contest.
Three Lada players recorded two points each. Dmitry Kugryshev contributed two assists, while Nikolay Makarov and Andrey Chivilyov each had a goal and an assist.
Admiral finished the game with 13 points. In the standings reported by Sport-Express, the team occupies eighth place in the Eastern Conference. Lada has six points and stands tenth in the Western Conference. Its run of defeats continued despite taking this game beyond regulation.
