Saint Laurent said its creative director is departing after leading the house's design since 2016; parent company Kering said a successor will be announced soon.
Anthony Vaccarello is leaving after a decade at the helm of Saint Laurent's creative direction. Kering said the designer helped strengthen the brand's identity and influence in fashion and culture. Group CEO Luca de Meo thanked him for his contribution to the house.
Saint Laurent President and CEO Cedric Charbit said the brand had strengthened its position and image under Vaccarello, while his work also had a cultural impact. Kering said it would announce a new creative lead soon.
Reuters, citing Kering, reported that Saint Laurent revenue declined 9% in 2024 and 6% in 2025 before largely stabilizing in 2026. Vaccarello's departure comes as the group reshapes its business amid a broader slowdown in the luxury market.
