Move-ins have begun at a new building under Moscow’s renovation programme on Kavkazsky Boulevard in the Tsaritsyno district. Deputy Mayor for Urban Development and Construction Vladimir Yefimov said it is the 15th building handed over under the programme in the district. Nearly 310 residents have been invited to view apartments.
Since the programme began, about 8,700 people from 37 old buildings in Tsaritsyno have started moving into new homes. The new monolithic, single-section building was built to an individual design. Kindergartens, schools, a clinic, shops and household services are nearby.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin met residents moving in the district the day before. He said renovation buildings use modern architectural designs. Some projects have sections of different heights to keep the buildings from looking bulky. The figures on the programme and the new building were provided by the city administration.
