Anton Lissov announces tumour diagnosis and postponed concerts
Jane Air singer Anton Lissov says he will undergo radiotherapy after doctors found a malignant tumour. The band will move some concerts to spring 2027.
The musician said he underwent throat surgery in the summer and that the removed growth proved to be malignant. In a video on his Telegram channel, Lissov explained that he could not combine the forthcoming treatment with performing.
Lissov co-founded Jane Air in 1999. He also performed as a backing vocalist with Little Big from 2014 to 2022 before concentrating on Jane Air.
The band's concerts on 30 October in Moscow and 1 November in St Petersburg will be its last performances in 2026. Its other shows scheduled before the end of the year are being moved to the spring. A band announcement shared on Lissov's channel says tickets already purchased will remain valid.
