Atlético hold Stuttgart to a draw after Hjulmand's sending-off

Atlético Madrid drew 1-1 away to Stuttgart in the third round of the Champions League league phase, finishing the match with a player sent off.

At Stuttgart's MHPArena, Jamie Leweling put the hosts ahead in the 36th minute. Julián Álvarez equalised in the 47th minute.

Morten Hjulmand received a straight red card in the 64th minute. The visitors preserved the draw after his dismissal.
