Nizhny Novgorod Airport handles flights subject to clearance

Nizhny Novgorod’s Chkalov Airport is accepting arrivals and departures subject to clearance from the relevant authorities, Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency said overnight into October 21.

The arrangement follows temporary restrictions on the use of airspace around the airport, the agency explained.

The agency warned that flight schedules could change.
