Bali distributes 177.5 thousand litres of water as dry season persists

Bali authorities and the Indonesian Red Cross have delivered 177.5 thousand litres of clean water to residents in several districts. Regional disaster management chief Gede Teja Bhusana reported the assistance.

He said the start of the island's rainy season had been delayed until early November under the influence of El Niño. The transition would be gradual, whereas rains had begun in October in 2025.

ANTARA reported that the prolonged dry season had led to more frequent clean-water shortages and wildfires in different parts of Bali.
