The club has ended its agreement with the head of its sporting department by mutual consent. Margaryan had held the post since November 2023.

Kaliningrad-based Baltika announced that it had ended its cooperation with sporting director Armen Margaryan. The club said the decision was made by mutual consent.

Margaryan had served as the team’s sporting director since November 2023. The club’s press service said several players had moved to leading Russian teams for record fees during his tenure, while some footballers received their first call-ups to the Russian national team.

After nine rounds of the Russian Premier League, Baltika have 11 points and sit eighth in the table. The club’s statement did not give a reason for the departure or name a successor.
