Belgorod region signs cooperation agreement with Rosatom and Russia — Land of Opportunity

Authorities in Russia’s Belgorod region have signed a three-party agreement to expand lean management practices, Governor Alexander Shuvayev said on October 13.
The partnership will provide regional and municipal teams with methods, training and consultations. Rosatom and the Senezh Management Workshop of the presidential platform Russia — Land of Opportunity will support the work.
Shuvayev said the agreement aims to reduce the time residents spend obtaining certificates and other public services. He described faster work by government agencies as an expected benefit of introducing the practices.
The region already cooperates with Rosatom through the federal Effective Region project. According to Shuvayev, Belgorod has ranked among its top five participants since 2019. Authorities now plan to expand their use of lean management. The governor’s announcement did not specify deadlines for changes to individual services or targets for reducing waiting times.
