Belyayev scores after puck hits his face as Spartak beat Amur

Spartak defeated Amur 2–1 in Khabarovsk on October 14. Alexander Belyayev scored the equaliser when Dmitry Vishnevsky's shot struck him in the face and ricocheted into the net.

The hosts took the lead in the second minute through Vitaly Abramov. Spartak responded late in the opening period on the power play, with Belyayev credited with his eighth goal of the current KHL regular season.

Belyayev left the ice with an injured face after the incident, RIA Novosti reported. His goal also ended Amur's run of thirteen games without conceding while shorthanded.

Christian Jaros scored the winner in the fifty-fifth minute, assisted by Maxim Comtois and Danil Pivchulin. Spartak's official website confirmed the final score and the team's scorers.

The victory was Spartak's third in succession. The Moscow club will complete its road trip with a game against Admiral in Vladivostok on October 16.
