BRICS wine and food tourism association is being formed with Russian partners

A BRICS wine and food tourism association is being formed with Russia's Economic Development Ministry, the Russian Union of Travel Industry, Abrau-Durso and other partners. Russian Agricultural Bank chairman Boris Listov announced the initiative at the Russian Winemaking Forum in Gelendzhik.
Listov said the association was intended as a cross-sector platform to develop tourism between BRICS countries. A prototype of its shared digital platform was presented in India this year.
Business missions to China, Brazil, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates are planned as the next step. Wine-industry cooperation gained a dedicated format at the forum in October 2025, when it hosted the first BRICS wine summit.
