Bryan Cranston recalls working with RJ Mitte after actor's death

RJ Mitte died on October 12 at 34. Bryan Cranston shared a tribute to his former Breaking Bad co-star.
Cranston said he met Mitte when he was 14 and had been cast as Walter White Jr. He recalled the young actor's enthusiasm and the experience he gained during filming.
He said Mitte listened to advice from him and Anna Gunn, who played the character's mother. Cranston also praised his colleague's determination while living with cerebral palsy and working demanding schedules.
Cranston said they had exchanged messages a few weeks earlier about meeting for lunch. His tribute expressed affection and grief. Those memories do not explain the circumstances of Mitte's death.
Mitte appeared in 56 episodes of Breaking Bad. He continued acting after the series, with credits including The Oak Room, The Recall and The Guardians of Justice, and advocated wider opportunities for performers with disabilities.
US media and the actor's representatives reported his death in Texas. It was described as a death by suicide, with circumstances still being examined.
