Caiman rescued after four days trapped in Brazilian housing complex drain

Firefighters rescued a caiman that had spent four days trapped in a residential complex’s drainage system in Niterói, Brazil, broadcaster G1 reported.

The adult male measured 2.24 meters in length and weighed 62 kilograms.

The animal was examined after being freed. It was found to be healthy and returned to its natural habitat.
