Araghchi says Saudi Arabia and Houthis have not answered Iran’s mediation offer

Iran has yet to receive a response from Saudi Arabia or Yemen’s Houthis to its offer to help arrange talks to end their conflict, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

Araghchi described the initiative’s status in a television interview with Al Ekhbariya.

Saudi Arabia leads a coalition supporting Yemen’s government forces and conducts airstrikes against Houthi positions. The Houthis have responded with attacks on the kingdom’s infrastructure.
